Can we take a minute to appreciate the pure awesomeness that is the Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Pensecola' letterman bomber jacket? One of the latest arrivals to the shop, varsity and letterman jackets are 'the' must-have trend for fall. This jacket is one of our favorite items in the shop for the gents.  It's the perfect combo of navy wool accented with a black leather hood and sleeves, and we love that white striped accent band. Great for a casual city like Austin. Wear this, and you just might look too cool for school...in the best way possible.

We don't know what we love more....the luxurious calf hair in a rich black color, a chic dipped ankle opening, braided zipper pull detail,  or the practical yet elongating 2.5" heel height. What we do know? These are a must-have for fall.

Co-Star is happy to be one of a select few stores in the US to carry Rivieras Leisure Shoes.   These canvas, canvas/mesh or suede slip-ons from France are perfect for summer get-togethers when something a bit more stylish than flip-flops is required. Originally sold along the French, Italian and Spanish rivieras in the 1950's in beachside shacks, these comfortable men's shoes bring a classic vintage feel to any outfit. BoomCases are Here!

Co-Star now has three BoomCases available online and in-store.  

What's a BoomCase?  A modern/vintage interpretation of a boombox housed in a suitcase. 

 It's a self-powered, portable suitcase stereo.  

They are handmade in California and each is unique - no two will every be exactly alike.  

BoomCases come with an audio cable for connecting an iPod or other media device, a power cord for playing indoors which also charges it in 4-5 hours and a unique selection of speakers.
Some have volume knobs for use when connecting devices like turntables or a

  USB connector to charge small devices.  

Since each one is unique, they won't be around long!

The Austin American Statesman's Michael Barnes recently stopped in while doing a story on menswear shops in Austin.  His mission was to find the perfect black shirt.  At Co-Star he found one - a simple, classic crew neck from Groceries.
